After you get your new video camera (see post below), a great gift is a Flip book – from flipclips. Turn a 30 second video into a great gift – a flip book. My husband and son made one for me in which he slowly holds up a sign — word by word — that says I Love You Mom — very cute ! (only $8.99!)

This is my current favorite gadget in all the world — the flip video camera ! I have the Flip Ultra and can carry it everywhere. It takes great videos and is easy to upload on youtube. So great! ( It is cheaper at Amazon than on the Flip Video site, so get it there if you can!) Gift Idea: Great for Dads, moms - anyone with kids (or kids who want to make their own movies!)

One of my new favorite gifts to give are the “Make Your Own Books” from Scribble Press. Scribble Press is a “place to write, illustrate and publish original books.” Each book prompts you with cues and blanks on each page to create your story. They are very simple, but they give the child a real sense of pride in making their own book.
My son makes his own books with regular paper stapled together all the time, but he LOVES making these books even more! We purchased one for Father’s Day and my son created a wonderful book for his Dad. And, of course we had to purchase the “if i were a superhero” book.
I also love the idea of the “when i was your age” book. It will be my turn to have a little fun.

We are so excited that PeaceLoveMom has come out with some great new colors and designs for the Fall and Winter. We are a huge fan of their short sleeve tees as they are cozy, comfortable and fit perfectly, but also love the thermal tees for Fall! These are really great quality !
